Welcome to the Bangor Public Library, your community's resource into the Future.
Welcome to the Bangor Public Library, a safe and caring place to help you connect to resources you need.
Check out our renovated space: an atrium to enjoy the sun, a new business center, more public meeting space, new computer lab with classes and individual tutoring, new public computing space, new printers and copiers, new teen and tween space, great new children’s space, lots of exhibit space, and new offerings in our virtual library. Check out our databases, our class offerings, e-books, e-magazines, and streaming audio books.
And, we still have books (lots of them), magazines, journals, newspapers— print resources to help you learn something new or just to appreciate the written word.
We look forward to helping you find books, information, ideas to help you find your way in the world.
We have at least one children’s program a day—check out our new space on the third floor.
Each month has new events—check out programs with authors, on crafts, current events, science and technology and check out our galleries with monthly exhibits by local artists.
