From Food to Photograph

Join us at the Library on Saturday, April 7th @ 3:00 pm for a program that makes food good enough to photograph! Learn how to make classic empanadas and homemade chimichurri sauce. Then, learn the secrets of bloggers who take the pictures that start great conversations about food.

Self-confessed foodie and creator of storycooking.com, Ellie Markovitch, a food artist who works with media literacy, will lend her talents to this program.
Bring a camera or device capable of taking pictures if you would like to capture your own fantastic food photographs.

While we will be making a classic empanada recipe, which has a beef filling, a vegetarian option will also be available.

This is a teen program open to 6 – 12 graders

Please register with the YA Librarian by Friday, March 30 by calling 947-8336 ext 115, email slayman@bpl.lib.me.us or stop by the YA room and register in person.
