Welcome to the Bangor Public Library, your community's resource into the Future.
Welcome to the Bangor Public Library, a safe and caring place to help you connect to resources you need.
Stop by to visit our newly renovated space: an atrium to enjoy the sun, a new business center, more public meeting spaces, a new computer lab with classes and individual tutoring, a new public computing space, new printers and copiers, a new teen and tween space, a great new children’s space, lots of exhibit space, and new offerings in our virtual library. We've got databases, class offerings, e-books, e-magazines, and streaming audio books for you to peruse.
And, we still have books (lots of them), magazines, journals, newspapers— print resources to help you learn something new or just to appreciate the written word.
We look forward to helping you find books, information, and ideas to help you find your way in the world and to keep you entertained.
We have at least one children’s program everyday—come visit us in our new space on the third floor.
Each month has new events—programs with authors, on crafts, current events, science and technology and don't forget to stop by our art galleries with monthly exhibits by local artists.
