Traditionally, the Friends of the
Library hold an annual book sale on the second Saturday of May, in the
Library's Lecture Hall. All proceeds from the book sale
go the Library; past book sales have funded such items as outside benches,
more work tables, audio books, and refreshments at library events.
Spring is the time to go through your book collection, free up some space
and donate whatever you can spare to the Library Book Sale. Please
bring books to the Library during Library hours. Please note:
we cannot take text books, condensed Reader's Digests, or magazines.
Come to the Book Sale and find that book you've
forgotten you meant to read...books on travel, politics or history that
are suddenly relevant today...the cookbook with recipes you never dared
try...or the perfect book for a new friend. Whatever you spend - it
won't be much! - will help our Library in the great job it does serving
our community. |
