Whenever you need help finding information, ask a Reference Librarian. They know this library's sources and are experienced searchers. They answer any question ranging from how to spell a word to how to find detailed economic statistics. The Reference desk is located through the main doors of the library and to your left. Reference librarians are on duty during all open hours.

Bangor Daily News Index
An index of the B.D.N. from the 1940's until 1990 is located in the Bangor Room. Ask a Reference Librarian for help using it, as the unique subject headings can be difficult. Indexing is also available from our online subscription to Proquest Newspapers (1992+).
