Library Card Application

Membership with the Bangor Public Library is FREE to residents of Maine.

Steps for getting your card:

  1. Complete the online Library Card Application Form.

  2. Your card will be ready by the next business day.  To pick up your new card, come to the Circulation Desk in the Library's main lobby.  Tell staff that you have registered on the website.  You will need to sign your application and show identification that has your full name and current mailing address. Children 14 years old and younger need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian to sign the application form.
