Learning to use Flipster-Your access to free magazines!
Flipster is the newest addition to the library's online collection. It's free for you as a library patron and you can access dozens of current magazines from Consumer Reports and Car & Driver to Rolling Stone and People. Join us to learn how get started reading your favorite magazines on your desktop, laptop, or tablet.

Email accounts are nearly a requirement in this day and age and if you're still lacking one and a bit overwhelmed by starting the process we're here to help! Join us to set-up an email account or learn how to manage the one you already have.

Ebooks and Audiobooks
You've got e-readers and we've got ebooks, it's a match made in a library. Join us Tuesday, April 14th from 2-4pm in the library computer classroom for a FREE class on accessing our online ebook and audiobook collection through your e-reader, tablet, smart phone, or computer. No registration required. Please bring the device you intend to use as your e-reader.

Library Database Series: Overview of Marvel!
The library offers thousands magazines, newspapers, and reference books available anywhere in the State of Maine through the online resources of MARVEL! This class is the first of our Library Database Series and will give you an overview of the resources available to you through this great service.

Library Database Series: Novelist and Flipster
Just in time for summer we've got you covered on finding new authors and books that suit your tastes. Novelist is a wonderful resource available through our MARVEL! database and we're here to get you started discovering titles, authors, and recommended reading based on your interests. We'll also discuss how to use Flipster-the great way to read magazines online!

Looking to learn a new language or brush up on those Spanish classes from high school? Join us to learn about Transparent Language Online, a free resource through the library.Transparent Language Online bridges the gap between learning a language and using that language in the real world by allowing users to do both - all in one program.

Have you wanted to set up a
Facebook account to help you keep in touch with friends
and family but were a bit overwhelmed by the process?
Then this class is for you! We'll help you set up your
account and go over the basics of using it, including
your privacy settings and you'll be looking a pictures
of grandkids and kittens in no time!
Get comfortable and confident with computers at the Bangor Public Library's Computer Lab sessions
