Library Database Series: Novelist and Flipster

Just in time for summer, we’ve got you covered on finding new authors and books that suit your tastes! Novelist is a phenomenal resource available through MARVEL! database and we’re here to get you started discovering titles, authors, and recommended reading based on your interests. We’ll also discuss how to use Flipster - the great new way to read magazines online!

Library Database Series: Transparent Language

Looking to learn a new language or brush up on those Spanish classes from high school? Join us to learn about Transparent Language, a free resource through BPL. Transparent Language Online bridges the gap between learning a language and using that language in the real world by allowing you to do both - all in one program!

Facebook 101

Have you wanted to set-up a Facebook account to help you keep in touch with friends and family but were a bit overwhelmed by the process? Then this class is for you! We’ll help you set up your account and go over the basics of using it, including your privacy settings, and you’ll be looking at pictures of grandkids and kittens in no time!

*You must have an email account in order to use Facebook

Struggling with that new tablet? Need help setting up an email account? Curious about using our online catalog of ebooks and audio books? Come on by with your questions; bring your laptop, e-reader, tablet, or smart phone; or we can use the library computers to get you up and running.
