Because of setbacks and the length of time our troops
were engaged, these posters were used to encourage the
home front to “support our troops” and remember why we
were fighting. |

used to “fire-up” the patriotic fervor of the American
people, to get support for the War Effort. |

posters were designed to encourage young men and women
to join a branch of the armed services. |

The American Red Cross aided
the War effort in many ways, these posters were used to
get public support for their part of the effort. |

War Bonds
These
posters were designed to encourage everyone to support
the War Effort with monetary contributions by purchasing
war bonds and war stamps. No one was too young or too
old to participate. |

These posters depict
women and highlight the work women did to help win the
